29TH DAY-

“I am” are important words in our lives. What comes after them makes them even more important for us. How we choose to address what and who we are, defines us. It defines how we feel about ourselves and as a result how we feel about our lives and the world around us. It defines how our bodies feel. And it defines how our health develops. We can either create balance or imbalance in our bodies by the thoughts we choose to have. If we can make saying kind words after “I am” a habit, and if we can let those words settle in our beings, in every cell of our bodies, we will be the source of peace for ourselves. It’s important that we choose our words carefully because what we choose creates our personal reality. It creates how our lives unfold.

So let us choose to be healthy. Let’s let the focus of our practice be on balance and health. Health and balance being all encompassing; mind and body, knowing that the soul is always in balance. Sit comfortably and bring your hands in your lap. Right hand supporting the left, both palms facing toward the sky and the thumbs gently touching each other. Take five breaths gently and slowly, making sure that the breath begins at the belly. Let your breath set the pace, don’t try to control it. Then begin the process with a new “mantra”. As you breathe in, mentally say “I am” and as you breathe out, mentally say “healthy”. As you say it, mean it. Let every cell in your body feel balance and health. That belly breath will create balance and as a result a space for health to happen. Don’t underestimate the power of love, specifically self love. Release the mantra when it naturally happens and stay in your stillness. When ready, open your eyes gently and softly.

Sweet dreams

Namaste-the ability to heal in me is also the ability to heal in you.
