The day Transcending MS arrived in my hands was a day filled with mixed emotions. It had taken 6 years for me to write and rewrite this book, and it was finally here! I was thrilled beyond belief. But it was also the day that I knew my story, with all my vulnerabilities, would be known to strangers all over the world. I was thrilled, but apprehensive. I knew the purpose for which it was written but… would what worked for me, work for others in the form of a book? I had been teaching and mentoring others with success., and Transcending MS was written for those I couldn’t reach in person.
It has been 4 years and - Yes! it is working and it was so worth it! I have had the incredible privilege of knowing people around the world who have been helped by it. What has surprised me the most is that it not only has been able to help people with multiple sclerosis, but also those with other diseases, and beyond that it has inspired those who are healthy.
My healing process gave me a purpose and it is being filled one person at a time, one book at a time, one moment at a time.
