We are focusing on making space, to make it a part of your daily life. We are forming relaxation patterns to make peace possible. You will begin to feel it in your body and your mind. Tonight, take your breaths in the same way you took your breaths last night, and put your hands comfortably in your lap Observe your breath as you are breathing in and as you are breathing out. Focus on when the inhalation ends and when the exhalation begins, and when the exhalation ends and the inhalation begins. Pause at each of those moments for a couple seconds. Deliberately create a space between each. If you find your mind wandering, just bring it back gently to the focus on the breath. Release all expectations and flow with what the experience gives you… Stay there as long as you’re comfortable. One minute, two minutes, 10 minutes, stay with the experience. When ready to open your eyes, do so gently and softly.

Ease yourself into a state of relaxation and gratitude.

Tonight, take your breaths in the same way you took your breaths last night, and put your hands comfortably in your lap Observe your breath as you are breathing in and as you are breathing out. Tonight, place one hand on your chest and one on your abdomen, take ten full breaths with your eyes closed, sitting up with a straight back in the same way you took your breaths last night.  Once finished taking the breaths, drop your hands and sit in the silence and stillness you have created for yourself. Observe any thoughts as they come and as they go. Don’t try to push them away. Be that observer without becoming engaged emotionally. Witness… Stay there as long as you’re comfortable. One minute, two minutes, 10 minutes, stay with the experience. When ready to open your eyes, do so gently and softly. Enjoy the shift…

Be aware that your breath is a source of life.

Continue to make space for yourself. Tonight, place one hand on your chest and one on your abdomen, take ten full breaths with your eyes closed, sitting up with a straight back in the same way you took your breaths last night.  Observe the process as you breathe in and as you breathe out. Don’t try to control it, just observe it as it happens.

Feel the shift as your body begins to slow down and your mind becomes lighter . Be aware that your breath is a source of life.

Ease yourself into a state of relaxation and gratitude.

31 DAY JOURNEY TO PEACE - 2ND DAY

2nd DAY

Continue to make space for yourself. Tonight, before you go to sleep, take 10 full breaths sitting up, with your back straight. Put one hand on your chest and one hand on your abdomen. As you inhale, the hand on the abdomen should rise more than the hand on the chest. As you exhale, slowly bring your abdomen in to exhale as much air as possible. Focus on the breath at the belly, breathing in through your nose and out through the lips, slowly and gently. Ease yourself into a state of relaxation.
