If our energy has the intention of lacking, the effect will be of judgement and a lack of love. In order for healing to happen we have to create the environment for it. Our bodies feel the difference of our intentions. Create the environment for healing through unconditional self love.

31ST DAY-

Here we are. The last day of our 31 day journey for 2019. This year, it felt important to make the space for us. The rest of the world needed to wait so that we could find our way to inner stillness, no matter what happened around us. Inner silence so we can listen to what our bodies need. Inner silence so our bodies can guide us to the healing process. In that stillness is our essence-love. In that stillness is the highest of vibrations we can have-gratitude. In that stillness we realize love and gratitude are no different. In that state of love and gratitude our physical being changes and the stillness makes the space for healing at a cellular level. If we practice this on a daily basis we have the ability to transform and transcend. When we are in a state of gratitude we send the message to the body that we have already received what we need. The body responds and fulfills that need-health.

Let’s practice our last meditation together. Sit comfortably, placing your palms on your knees, with your palms facing toward the sky and the thumb and index finger touching each other. Your other fingers extended but relaxed. Take 11 full breaths beginning the breaths at the belly. Then bring your palms together at your heart and as you breathe in mentally say “I am” as you breather out mentally say “grateful”. Enjoy the effect of the palms together in sync with the intention behind your words. When ready release your palms and bring them back onto your knees. Release the mantra naturally. Stay in your stillness and experience what gratitude can do…

May your meditation practice continue and grow this year. May your unconditional self love grow with it. May you recognize your power to heal. May your health be abundant.

Namaste-the power to heal in me, is the same power to heal in you.

30TH DAY-

Bringing the palms together connects the right and the left hemisphere of the brain. It connects us with our spiritual side and opens up the space for respect for ourselves and others. What we find is that it naturally slows down our nervous system and reduces stress and anxiety. It opens the door for us to step into our stillness. It’s a very beautiful way to begin any process of inner peace.

So today let’s begin by sitting comfortably. Take five relaxed breaths and make sure that the breath begins at the belly with your palms in your lap like we’ve done before; right hand holding the left and both palms facing the sky with the thumbs gently touching each other. Then gently bring your palms together at your heart and continue to breathe. Observe the change as it happens in your mind and your body. As you breathe in mentally say “I am” and as you breathe out mentally say “at peace.” Your words support what your mind and your body are experiencing. The body and the mind experience this together. When ready, release your palms and the mantra and bring them back in your lap the way they started. Stay in your stillness and experience the effect. Give the body the opportunity to be and heal.

Sweet dreams

Namaste- that which the universe has given me, has also been given to you…

31 DAY JOURNEY TO PEACE - 29TH DAY

29TH DAY-

“I am” are important words in our lives. What comes after them makes them even more important for us. How we choose to address what and who we are, defines us. It defines how we feel about ourselves and as a result how we feel about our lives and the world around us. It defines how our bodies feel. And it defines how our health develops. We can either create balance or imbalance in our bodies by the thoughts we choose to have. If we can make saying kind words after “I am” a habit, and if we can let those words settle in our beings, in every cell of our bodies, we will be the source of peace for ourselves. It’s important that we choose our words carefully because what we choose creates our personal reality. It creates how our lives unfold.

So let us choose to be healthy. Let’s let the focus of our practice be on balance and health. Health and balance being all encompassing; mind and body, knowing that the soul is always in balance. Sit comfortably and bring your hands in your lap. Right hand supporting the left, both palms facing toward the sky and the thumbs gently touching each other. Take five breaths gently and slowly, making sure that the breath begins at the belly. Let your breath set the pace, don’t try to control it. Then begin the process with a new “mantra”. As you breathe in, mentally say “I am” and as you breathe out, mentally say “healthy”. As you say it, mean it. Let every cell in your body feel balance and health. That belly breath will create balance and as a result a space for health to happen. Don’t underestimate the power of love, specifically self love. Release the mantra when it naturally happens and stay in your stillness. When ready, open your eyes gently and softly.

Sweet dreams

Namaste-the ability to heal in me is also the ability to heal in you.
